This Department was established in the year 2000.The Department provides industry ready engineers with world class training through the experienced teaching fraternity. The students of the Department are placed in top notch companies all around the world. The students Department is equipped with excellent infrastructure with state-of-the-art laboratories. The department provides 24 X 7 Wi-Fi Connectivity with 100 Mbps with 4G Technology.Value added courses on the latest technologies are conducted during the working hours and beyond working hours. A centre of excellence is established with EMC and courses on Cloud computing infrastructure and big data are conducted for the benefit of students.
The department is a member of the CISCO Academy, EC Council Academy, ORACLE Academy and is associated with Google and HCL Technologies. Routing and switching courses are conducted through the CISCO academy for the students beyond the regular working hours. Recently, the Department has become an academia partner to provide knowledge for the students in the domain of Cyber Security.
The faculty members and the students are the members of the bodies such as CSI, IEEE and ISTE. Effective guidance is provided for the students to succeed in exams such as GATE, GRE, TOEFL, GMAT and CAT.
The centralized air-conditioned laboratories are powered by an Oracle 9i server, windows 2013 server and linux server which are connected through LAN with 185 Intel 7 processors.
Well experienced, dedicated and highly qualified faculties are the backbone of the department. The excellent academic performance of our students is due to high degree of involvement and dedication of our faculty. They give individual attention to the students and make them excel in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities with ethics and values.

Message from HOD’s desk
Greetings! On behalf of the faculty members and students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, I feel proud to welcome youall to the department!.
The Computer Science and Department has consistently maintained an excellent academic record. The supremebenefit of the department is outstanding infrastructure, highly motivated and committed faculty members. The department focuses on holistic development of the students by a combination of both curricular and extracurricular activities. We believe that to develop a caring mind we need to go beyond class room teaching and we realize that our department, which helps to make the students industry ready.
We have collaborated with the Global CISCO Academy, IBM Bluemix Cloud Technology and established IBM Emerging Technologies to give the best to the students. We have established Applied Labs such as Next Generation Network Lab powered by Cisco Academy, Mobile Application Lab and Program and Coding Lab for the knowledge enrichment of the students. In CISCO Academy, we offer value added programs to enhance the student’s overall development. Our faculty members mentor and motivate the students to provide more number of solutions for making up the Digital India. National level participation in technical programs and competitions by our students adds more glory to the department. Around 30 of our students started their own company and the department strives to produce more number of entrepreneurs while they are studying in the department. I have myself invested a great deal of time and energy in creating strong foundations for the department and will continue to do all that it takes to ensure the best job opportunities through career focused education for our students.
